Finally an update! lol. so aaron wanted me to call this update the semi-annual post because we are definitely not every day, every week, or even every month bloggers. But that will definitely change now. we are in california selling for pinnacle and i have more time to blog. I am giving a warning though.... this will be a very very long post! lol So Enjoy!


I know this is a while back but thats how much i need to update. lol. Merry Christmass!! hahha Here goes our fun christmas vacation!

So our first stop on our road trip was the beautiful Utah! We were able to spend some time with the whole family, it was a lot of fun. We attended a lot of family partayys! Thank you all for the fun times and the wonderful gifts and most importantly all the love. we love you guys!

Mike and Leslie were able to spend some time with us in utah before going off to colorodo. We went to temple square and enjoyed the christmas lights, it was beautiful, then we went to eat at settebello's. they have amazing pizza, so good. then we had some dessert at mcdonalds, their vanilla ice cream is always a hit! It was so nice spending time with them over the holidays. thanks guys!





The next stop on our road trip was the fabulous las vegas! I dont know what it is about that place but we love it! Its a great rest stop before california.




Finally, we made it to california! I am not gonna lie, at one point i was worried we weren't gonna make it. We ended up staying a few days longer in utah because the snow storms were starting to get bad. Luckily, aaron is a great, safe driver and we made it through the weather. lol. We spent christmas in southern california and it was a lot of fun and so good to see everyone and be all together with the fam for the holidays.

The best part were the games. we introduced the game mafia to the fam and they loved it. It was seriously the funniest thing and such a blast. we pretty much played mafia over and over again every night for many hours. lol. good times!




It was back to rexburg for new years after our crazy and very fun christmas vacation! Mike and Leslie were also going to be in rexburg for new years so we got together played games, ate a seven layer dip, drank sparkling cider and had our own little partay to celebrate the new year. it was perfect!

Winter Semester 2009! the winter semester was a good one for me. i am finally taking the major classes for elementary education and i love it. i am actually excited and interested in the classes i am taking and i am very proud of myself for doing so well. I tried really hard to get all A's this semseter and i was soo close. i got all A's and one B+. ahhh it was frustrating that it was soo close but its ok i was really happy with school this semester. i loved it and i was able to put my education to practice by going out to public schools and practicing my stuff and its soo fun and you definitely learn a lot. I also had a special education class this semseter and went out to an institution and volunteered helping adults with special needs. I was soo nervous but it was a great experience and very fun. For this class, we also had to experience how it feels to have special needs so there were specific amount of hours where i needed to be in a wheel chair at school, wear eye masks that made me partially blind, and talk to people with speach problems. This was a great experience and sometimes very embarrasing. You really get an idea what it feels like to have special needs and trust me, ITS NOT EASY! This class was truly one of my favorites and i really learned a lot.



This was one of the masks i wore and it was actually the easiest one. There was one mask where i only had a tiny hole in the middle on both eyes and i really had a hard time. i couldnt even see my teacher's power point. i couldnt take notes! lol.

Birthday Weekend!
February 13th- happy birthday bro! We all got together and tried to keep a surprise bday party from pat! i think it worked





It was a lot of fun, thanks everybody for doing such a great job!

Next, was valentine's day and my bday! It was a great weekend and Aaron always knows how to spoil me and make sure my day was perfect. He is amazing at planning and surprising me with things. He did a lot for me that weekend and spoiled me with gifts, breakfast in bed, going out to our favorite restaurant and a ton more but my absolute favorite thing he did was this.....................


UNBELIEVABLE! i couldnt believe he did that! i didnt even realize he had woken up super early in the freezing cold snow to do it! When i finally saw it, i was by myself and it was funny because i wasnt sure at first if it was for me. haha.This is a field right behind our apartment. The "a" in my name is backwards but hey that is a pretty good job for how big it is and he only made footsteps on the side. That was seriously the cutest thing, i loved it!

Our Last Get Together with Friends =(

The end of the semester partayy!! we were able to hang out with all our friends for the last time. It was fun and sad at the same time. We will miss you guys! We had a lil game tournament! good times!







Finally our last event before the summer- April 10th, ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! WHAT??!! haha i know i still cant believe it has been a year already. Thanks everybody for your love, support, and all you did for us during our wedding. Our first year married has honestly been amazing! we have experienced so much together and have learned even more from each other. Happy Anniversary!





To celebrate, aaron surprised me again of course with anniversary trip to vegas!! wuhooo!! lol. im super excited he made reservations with wyndam for a four day three night get away. we decided to take the trip after the summer instead of before the summer. so we will be taking our anniversary trip in september. it will be an awesome break especially for aaron. we are super excited!
