2010 was a great year!

2010 was a year that was full of great adventures. We had such a great time but I think I realize now looking back at pictures how blessed we were and how many adventures we were able to have throughout the year. We were able to experience so much that I may have taken them for granted. I am trying now to appreciate and see the blessings more each day. We moved around so much this year that after a while it was a pain but in the end it was all worth it because we were able to see so many people from both sides of our family that we normally would not have been able to see. It was truly a great year!

We started the year in Rexburg, Idaho. Grandma Burrup's birthday is in January so we went down to Preston, Idaho for her birthday party. She is so cute and going strong. we love her so much. Happy Birthday Grandma Burrup!

In February we took a trip to Vegas during Memorial Weekend with our good friends Mike and Les. It was so fun to get out of the winter cold and we finally did the trip we had been talking about for so long.

We first went sight seeing and enjoyed the different styles of each hotel.

We then met up with our good friends James and Amanda. They moved to Vegas from Rexburg and it was so nice to see them again, we miss them so much!

I love the show at the Bellagio, its so beautiful!

The view of the strip from the stratosphere.

Blue Man Group! This was a fun show, I was maybe expecting a little more but overall it was very entertaining and a lot of fun! We were so lucky to get discounted tickets and be placed in the front row. We had to wear ponchos just in the case the paint splattered out into the audience. It didn't but I was kind of hoping it would. That would have been really funny!

Before leaving our trip we stopped to see Melissa Hill and her family. Her little boy is so cute!

to be continued...

Its a great way to keep our loved one's updated and it keeps our memories preserved. So as usual this will be a long post lol but enjoy getting updated from the last year and I will keep them coming! =)

Vegas!
On our way back to Rexburg we stopped in Vegas and met with my aunt and uncle. They were so nice enough to let us use their place at the Caesar's and tickets to a show. We had a lot of fun spending time with them.

We met up and had lunch at the venetian, the atmosphere was so nice.

Our place at the Caesar's, we loved it!

We then went to see Human Nature, a Motown group. It was a lot of fun and we actually knew most of the songs.

Christmas 2009

Before going to Utah for Christmas we celebrated a little in Rexburg with our friends.

We had a Christmas party with our friends where we wore pajamas, played games, watched a Christmas movie and played the white elephant gift exchange.

We also had our own little christmas at home in Rexburg, ID. Aaron loves christmas so much that he created a book where each day of december has a christmas story, movie, etc. Its so cute and one of the traditions we want to do with our family. We also started a christmas tradition where we will put a christmas puzzle together during the month of december and finish it by christmas day. We found the perfect puzzle which includes santa (the fun side of christmas) looking at baby jesus from a nativity (the true meaning of christmas).

our gifts for each other

Christmas in Utah

Christmas party at Ed and Julie's! It is always so much fun and the kids are so cute with their matching pj's they get each year.

Kristin had a great Christmas program for all of us. She told the nativity story, grandpa and some of the boys had stories to tell, the kids sang, and Jen had a cute scavenger hunt for the kids.

Nothing is more fun than seeing little kids on Christmas morning. They were so excited!

Brielle had the cutest expressions on her face and she was so sweet with her new doll acting like a very good mommy rocking her in the chair and covering her with a blanket. She will grow up to be a great mom!

And Jace loved his new ride and clapped after every present so cute!
